Description: This dataset contains cemetery location information for the State of Florida. It is a combination of cemeteries and other types of burial ground locations from approximately 24 different data sources including; Florida counties, parcel centroids, the U.S. Board on Geographic Names (GNIS), Florida Division of Historical Resources (SHPO) cemetery centroids, SuperPage cemetery address locations, and more. This dataset contains fields denoting the location, and other information for cemeteries located in Florida. This data is meant to be used for planning purposes only and is not intended to represent a 100% inventory of cemeteries in Florida. Cemetery locations that have been verified are marked with the letter V in the FLAG field.
