This data set contains Block Groups for 2000. This layer was created for use by the Florida Department of Transportation for use in the Community Characteristics Inventory (CCI) report. The spatial portion of this data was retrieved from TIGER at the block group level. Demographic data has been collected at 100% count (Summary File 1) and sample basis (Summary File 3). A variety of GIS techniques including python scripting were used to parse, aggregate, and join the tabular demographic data to the spatial data. |
